STRUT Fashion Show showcases fashion designers, models, and stylists. While spreading awareness on major social and emotional topics, STRUT welcomes major industry leaders on the panel to enjoy an educational Q & A session just before the fashion show. STRUT is Nonrefundable. Registration may be transferred to a future Selah Production or transferred to a photo shoot.

You will receive a personal message of group acceptance and will be expected to immediately create a comment post submissions that will include your contact information, CLEAN photos, measurements, and the cause that you are STRUTting for.

Thank you for your participation in the STRUT 2024 Fashion Play Tour!

You have made the life-enhancing decision to join a new, creative family and change a city for a lifetime.

STRUT Fashion Play is an annual fashion show produced by Selah Productions, Inc. that uses a theatrical play style infused with dance to tell an inspirational tale of endurance and victory over major social, mental, and physical plights.

We are looking for Excellent Dancers, Models, Performers, Stylists, Boutiques, Designers, and Volunteers with a heart for ministry to bring this dynamic showcase to life.

All participants must have a personal cause (a social, physical, or mental condition they want to bring awareness to). The participant who sells the most tickets is crowned top producer title, Mr. or Miss STRUT, and their cause becomes the following year's showcase platform and fashion play outline. The winner receives the crowning of the following year’s co-producer and monetary investment into their STRUT Fashion Play. Their cause is highlighted in their cities showcase by their opening Q & A panel speech, show opening dedicational, decore, color schemes, guest speakers, and vendor booth owners they invite with cause-related handouts. The crown holder will also benefit from free internship event production training meetings to help co-produce their city's next STRUT Fashion Play.

To minimize performer training schedule and changes, the tour has one consistent soundtrack and depiction of the following mission points of Selah:

Perfection: Despite what you were born into, you were born perfect.
Conflict: Society and this world is here to rob you of this power and make you doubt.
Temptation: Don't get tempted by the false standards of peers, media, and insecurity.
Trapped: Too often we are blinded by pain from unhealed trauma and dont think we have a purpose.
Revelation: You have to confront yourself to do the inner work. Forgiveness is the only way to truth.
Escape: When lost at the bottom of darkness, all you can do is look up until you see the light.
Pause and Reflect = Selah: When you come so close to losing it all, a new gratitude is birthed from your labor. You have power in your Will as a servant of healing. You seek to help others see the truth.
Victorious: All things are possible because you believe. You have survived the dark night of the soul.
Crowned: You have your reward. You have graduated from the game of life. Snakes and ladders.

A one-hour STRUT Q&A Panel The STRUT Crown holder opens the panel with the welcome.
STRUT 2024 Fashion Play begins with a 37-minute-long soundtrack.
Add 3-5 minutes of MC between each scene that can be allotted for possible quick changes.
Crown Holder shares their cause with the audience and teaches them the STRUT Chant.
If they have invited a company to speak, they will have 5 - 8 minutes.

Description concept:

We were created to live forever. Hence the soul and its role. It is only the suit that we put on, it’s the flesh that we embody that is the life that we choose to live.

What is death? What is life? What is this soul who wishes to leave one suit and transform into another? Is the soul dissatisfied, curious, deserving, or learning?

Have you ever wished you could have another life? Like toys in a toy box, with their desire to have a new life, to experience something new. These toys are trapped in a pin. They are tired of being lost, broken, and neglected. They want another life.

Description Concept:

The scene should open up with dancers, looking remade and new!

0:29 models release 0:30 0:56 principles should each rise up in sets of two on each side of the stage so the view is balanced.

01:08 - 01:32 is the chorus with praise dancers it would be cool if everyone froze like mannikins until there were vocals to move to. This will help to reinforce the toys coming to life.

Models, who exit from the runway, should find a place to rest and freeze in a pose while holding their candles in their hands when they have completed their catwalk, Instead of returning to back-of-house.

The goal is to start the finale stack of parallel lines while still being able to see the dancers perform.

The goal would be by the last chorus, 03:05 all models will be in their places, and the dancers could start making their performance down to the center of the models towards the top of the stage and center of the models. 03:05 - 4:37

Here is the Finale bow to practice:

04:05 Cross left foot over right, land foot on the word “to” at 04:07

Raise right hand overhead on the words “far off” and set in delicate bow hand manner on word “land” at 04:10

Everyone will bow on “I am” at 04:15 and hold down 4 counts rise to reset left leg in military stance and hold 8 counts looking extremely powerful!!!

Scene Twelve

Everyone shoul be in place from grand finale. MC will call curerent Mr/Miss STRUT Forward hold a crown, robe, flowers and sash.

They will announce who the next Mr./Miss STRUT Co-Producer will be. They will walk up and tell us what their cause platform for the next years showcase will be about!
